TIDE (Team for Inclusivity, Diversity, and Equity) in Petaluma is made up of Administrators, teachers, parents, and Community Members who are dedicated to building and supporting inclusive school communities.
TIDE is the lens through which the school and community continue to evolve for inclusion and belonging. When students feel like they belong, they can synthesize information faster, listen for understanding and take feedback that allows for greater personal awareness, connectivity and responsibility.
In connection to the mission of Petaluma City Schools, our slides summarize our purpose and work together since inception in 2019. We are a resource for inclusion, for educators and the PTA alike! The Grant TIDE Team meets monthly. All are welcome!
