In the 2024-2025 school year, the PTA is proudly funding vital programs and resources that promote health, fitness, and fun. 

PE Coordinator

In 2024-2025, the PTA is funding a dedicated PE Coordinator at Grant who plays a crucial role in developing and implementing engaging physical education programs. This position ensures that our students receive high-quality instruction on a weekly basis that not only promotes physical fitness but also fosters teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love for active play. 

Recess Equipment

To make recess an enjoyable and active time for all students, the PTA invests in annual recess equipment. From handballs and soccer balls to recess art supplies, our funding ensures that students have a variety of options for play.

Westside Relays

One of Petaluma City School District's fun events to close out the school year is the district wide Westside Relays, an exciting event that promotes physical fitness and school spirit. The PTA supports this annual tradition by covering the registration fee for the school to enter the competition. The Westside Relays event provides an opportunity for 5th and 6th students to showcase their athletic teamwork and for 4th graders to take a walking field trip to cheer for their fellow Shamrocks.
