SPRING PLAY
Open to 1st-3rd Grade
- Auditions: Wednesday, 2/11 at 1:15 and Friday 2/13 at 2:35 in the multi
- Rehearsals: February 25th - May 15th (Wednesdays 1p-2:30p and Fridays 2:35-4:15) Please hold Sunday, May 3rd from 1-3 for an extra rehearsal
- Performance: Friday, May 15 , 2026 6pm
*All dates are subject to change based on volunteer availability, facility needs, and/or other factors. We will do our best to stick to the schedule and communicate any changes promptly.
The Grant PTA is thrilled to announce that this year we’ll be offering two plays:

Fall Play (4th–6th grade) – MATILDA- We hope you made it!

Spring Play (1st–3rd grade) – JUNGLE BOOK
We’re excited to welcome back Jess Worthen and Vanessa Frost, who are partnering with the Grant PTA to bring high-quality performing arts experiences to the Grant community. Students will gain valuable instruction, build confidence, and perform live for classmates, families, and the community.
Audition Information
“Look for the bare necessities, the simple bare necessities, forget about your worries and your strife!"
All students will be considered for all roles, and all registered students will be cast in the show.
How to prepare for auditions:
All actors need to be in attendance for both days. We will play improv games and keep it fun and no pressure for everyone.
For actor looking for a main role, they will be required to sing 30-60 seconds of a Disney song of their choice in order to be considered. (please be school appropriate).

Program Details
Cost: $200 per student
Scholarships available – no student will be excluded due to financial need.
The PTA contributes funding to reduce costs for families. Participant contributions help cover the remaining program expenses.
NOTE: Because program spending decisions are based on the funds that have been contributed, we are unable to accommodate refund requests after auditions have completed ( 6pm on Friday 2/13/26).
